Nadeshiko Japan won a ticket to London Olympics

Japanese women's soccer team won the elimination round and got one of the two slots allocated for Asian countries to compete in the 2011 Olympics.  Pressure is on! as they are the current World Cup champions.

"Nadeshiko" literally means something like "adorable girl". The team's coach, Norio Sasaki, is a man, but he's also a big part of team Nadeshiko.
